Just found out today that the White Stripes officially announced their breakup two days ago. Being probably the most influencial band for me personally and resposible for the way my musical perception was shaped, I can’t say that I’m glad they did, but on the other hand I think they had good reasons.
I salute this great band and their music by posting the biggest version of their iconic “Get Behind Me Satan” album cover I was able to find. I once painted this and it is still hanging in my brother’s flat.
